The last finals of this year Blackpool Dance Festival were danced to the packed hall again! Professional Ballroom always takes place on the last day of the festival and it is always an exciting event to watch. As usual, each dance is judged separately from the 1/8 of the final and couples get separate recalls to the next round. The winners tonight were the defenders of the title from 2010, 2011 and 2012 and the current WDC World Professional Ballroom champions Arunas Bizokas and Katusha Demidova from USA - no surprise and well deserved victory. Arunas and Katusha were placed 1st in all the dances. The second place in all four dances went to their fellow countrymen Victor Fung and Anastasia Muravyova. Placed third in all the dances were Andrea Ghigiarelli and Sara Andracchio who represent England.
Placed fifth in the Quickstep and fourth in the remaining dances were Domen Krapez and Monica Nigro from Slovenia. Valerio Colantoni and Yulia Spesivtseva from Russia were placed sixth in the Waltz and Quickstep and fifth in the other dances. The sixth place overall went to the couple from Germany Sascha Karabey and Natasha Karabey . Sasha and Natasha were placed fifth in the Waltz, sixth in Foxtrot and Tango, but did not make the final in the Quickstep.
Chao Yang and Yiling Tan from China were fourth in Quickstep but did not make to the final round in the other dances.
